Little Wizard 2.5 Tuning Instructions
- Install a new or fully charged 9-volt battery for best detection performance.
- Turn the power switch ON by rotating the side dial approximately halfway.
- Hold the Little Wizard away from metal objects, tools, concrete with rebar, electrical wiring, or large machinery while tuning.
- If the detector produces a continuous beep, use the fine-tuning screw adjustment on the top of the unit.
- Slowly rotate the fine-tuning screw until the continuous beep stops.
- The Little Wizard is now tuned and ready to scan wood surfaces for hidden nails, screws, staples, wire, and other metal objects.
- Test small objects by hand first, then slowly scan the surface of boards and lumber. When metal is detected, the unit will beep and indicate the approximate location of the hidden object.
Helpful Tips:
• Always use a fresh or fully charged battery.
• Tune away from metal surfaces for best results.
• Slow crosshatch scanning improves detection accuracy.
