The Wood Wizards adjustable sensitivity makes pinpointing easy and accurate. The Wood Wizard precisely indicates metal by emitting a high pitch beep tone and illuminating an array of LED's.

To Use The Wood Wizard:

Turn on the detector by rotating the on/off tuning dial. The red LED indicator will glow, and the beeper will sound briefly. Rotate the dial until the LED stops glowing. Hold the detector as shown, moving it sideways across a board until it senses metal. Remove metal object(s) from the board. Re-scan that same area thoroughly to make sure all metal has been removed from the area where metal was detected. It may be necessary to adjust the sensitivity of the detector by rotating the dial. The detector is most sensitive when adjusted by rotating the dial slightly past the position where the red LED has just stopped glowing. For maximum metal detection the Wood Wizard is designed to detect while held horizontal to boards or lumber. Tilting the detector upwards may cause erratic detection. For best operation results we recommend testing metal detection on a board to become familiar with detection capabilities.
