Wizard Industries Company History:
Wizard
Industries was formed by Billy and Julie Carmen in October of 1999.
Because of the excellent team that the Carmens' assembled, along with
their innovative product line, the company has undergone a rapid growth
far beyond their expectations.
Since
starting Wizard Distribution in October of 1999 with a single product
and a $75,000 outlay, no less than 30 products have been put on thousands
of national retail shelves by Wizard Industries. Partnering with a respected
Chinese manufacturer (Tohkai
Precision, LTD. ) the Carmens' had tracked down years earlier to
make one of thier products, and utilizing their inhouse team's extensive
internet and marketing expertise, Billy and Julie have been able to
bring these products to market far more inexpensively and quickly than
most companies would imagine possible. The result has been the amazingly
fast-paced branding of the name, Wizard.
Using
the knowledge and experience gained in engineering, designing and building
database driven e-commerce powered web sites for major companies, Billy
and Julie have created a very unique and powerful marketing, e-commerce
and product launch web site called, SampleRewards.
SampleRewards is a system that allows enthusiast consumers to refer
Wizard products to retailers who would otherwise be unable to obtain
the Wizard line through a larger wholesale. Once the referral is made
and a retailer places an order, the referring consumer is rewarded with
one of whatever product line the retailer picks up. This two-pronged
approach has proven to be a very powerful and advantageous marketing
tool for Wizard Industries. The SampleRewards system has now found its
way into the "Product Exposure " world as well. As a result
several new products have been introduced to the Wizard product line
via this tequnique. This site continues to garner submissions on an
almost daily basis allowing Wizard Industries to increase the product
mix being manufactured and distributed worldwide under the Wizard brand
name.
Furthermore,
The SampleRewards system has recently been modified to allow ANY select
manufacturer to list their merchandise on the SampleRewards site, therein
allowing Wizard to retail, wholesale and distribute items made by other
companies. The unique blending of technology with Wizard's manufacturing
capabilities (form the Chinese partner) combined with Wizard's rapid
"new product roll out" capabilities, has enabled the team
at Wizard to created a powerhouse of production.
This Carmens' have been instrumental in bringing about the rapid success
of the company. With a variety of capabilities, the Carmens' unique
operation does everything from their distribution facility in Van Nuys,
CA. From product development and design to graphics and marketing campaigns,
TV commercials and product demo videos to computer network management,
web server and web site management to sales, bookkeeping, warehousing
and shipping, all done in-house by the Carmens and their Wizard team.
